On April 30, 1982, my parents advertised our Grand Opening in the Dahlonega Nugget. With a few traditional cookbooks, shared recipes, and a passion for bringing happiness to others, on May 1, we opened our doors in a tiny space in Chestatee Village, adjacent to the historic Smith House Restaurant and Inn.

By 1984, we had settled into our current location on the corner of North Park Street and East Main Street, directly across from the Welcome Center on Dahlonega’s Historic Square, and the rest is history!

For 40 years our family has welcomed locals and visitors through our double doors with the sweet smell of handmade candies. Our family has grown, as Dahlonega has, but our passion remains unchanged. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have made this vision a success!
